I use the Whirly Pop quite often and love it. There isn't any popcorn like making it the old fashioned way. ;-)
Very Reliable popcorn maker
I have not had a bad batch of popcorn since I bought this item a 2 months ago. This popper takes a little more attention than an electric popper, but I have not had a bad batch of popcorn using this popper.

Whirley Chore, bad for Kettle Corn
Conclusion: I'm very disappointed with the Whirley Pop and I tend not to judge items harshley. If you have a method with your current pot in making kettle corn, then don't buy this popper. Unless you are already burning your pots to death, or you don't care about breaking the whirley pop and using my modified instructions above you're NOT missing out and your kettle corn is probably superior to what you get out of your first few tries with the whirley pop anyways.
